RELIEF TILES

Inspired by 19th century techniques the outline of the pattern is embossed on to the tile and different coloured glazes are applied to the "walled" sections created.

Relief moulded tiles are coloured using swift brush strokes to create the subtle shaded effects. Each tile is slip cast in sculptured moulds and then dry fired before being hand painted, glazed, and fired again in a high temperature kiln.

Tube lined tiles go through several processes before they reach their finished state, with their jewel like translucent colours and graceful flowing designs.
